Is Jesus The Messiah?

Is Jesus The Messiah?

The greatest question every man and woman ever born has to answer is found in Matthew 16:13- 17.

Mat 16:13  When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14  And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15  He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

It is not enough to know what other men’s opinions are about the Messiah.  You must know Him personally and be able to give an answer.  The word of God tells us that unless God draws us to Him, we cannot come to Him. (John 6:44  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him.)  KJV

The plan of salvation began unfolding at the beginning of time.  You can search the scriptures and find Him on every page from Genesis to Revelation.  Jesus explained this to His disciples on the road to Emmaus. (Luke 24:27  And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.) KJV

Following is a partial list of prophecies that pertain to the first coming of the Messiah/Jesus.
